Padyak Boys!

The Pedal Boys!
Translated by Bogart

Padyak, padyak . . .
paa kong tiyak
en wid gud luk
aba sigurado limpak!

Pedal, pedal . .
my sure stride

and with good luck

for sure I'll get much!

At eto sina Wilson at Richard:
And here's Wilson and Richard:

Ang tunay na padyak boys. The real pedal boys.
Umaga at hapon ang kayod nila. They work from morning till noon.
Mga batang saksakan ng sipag . . . They are hardworking kids . . .
ma-abilidad at masayahin pa . . . who are industrious and happy . . .
aba, eh di isama mo na ang porma . . . and don't forget their looks:

sus, eh pang TV kaya! . . .
. . . perfect for TV!

At eto ang dala ng paborito kong padyak boys:
And here's what my favorite pedal boys have:

Aba! Sari-saring tinapay pinoy! Pilipit na malambot, spanish bread (may keso sa loob!) pan de coco . . . haaaay! Hulog kayo ng langit sa buhay namin!
Whoa! Several pinoy breads! Soft twisted bread, spanish bread (with cheese inside!), coco jam filled bread . . . ahhhhhh! You are heaven's gift to us!

Marinig ko lang ang "potpot" nila . . .
The moment I hear their bell that goes 'potpot'. . .

Ahahay, ayos na ang kasunod!
Ahhhh, for sure I'll get seconds!

Idol ako ng mga iyan! I am their idol!
At siyempre idol ko din sila! And of course, they are my idols too!
At eto ang autograph ko para lang sa inyo, idol!
And here's my autograph just for you, my idols!

Ayan, habang buhay iyan nakatatak sa buhay mo!
And that will be etched forever in your life!

I pray that you will have a better life and for you to go to school. To live simply and well. And I hope that our government will take care of you! Okay, idols, time to pedal your way for more sales! Long live my pinoy idols!
