Oras Na!

Oras na ng . . . Kabaliwan.
It is time for the . . . Loonies.
Translated by Bogart

Ayan, tingnan mo iyan:
There, look at that:

O, PoongMahabagin! Patnubayan po ninyo ako sa mundong mababaw!
The biggest madness and the wrong understanding of the real essence of Halloween are all around me again! Oh, God of Mercy! Please guide me in a shallow world!

Hindi ko susuutin iyan!
I will not wear that!

My looks alone is already shocking!
Why need to spruce it with something laughable?

They are only for kids, puppies, and those who are kids/puppies-at heart, just like my pups who both enjoy wearing stuff like that.

But what is Halloween?
Why and when did it became associated with ghosts and made to became a scary event that borders on the satirical celebration of a happy event of our past? The sacred past where once the Goddess Isis, created from the union of the air and water, ruled. When Isis gave birth, She gave birth to a world of people, animals, plants . . .which somehow became unruly, destructive and ironic in their weakness and madness.
The real world is not found in streets or places stained by people's greed. The real world is like a secret, wrapped by our somewhat sleeping hearts and pitifully hiding our real oneness . . .

Masayang Pagdiriwa sa mga kaibigan kong bruha!
A Merry Samhain to all my beloved witch friends!
